Congratulations ECOO Celebration Multimedia Winners!

This submission is a Stop Motion Animation created by Sara Johns and Carissa Schenck, grade 12 Communication Technology students at Central Huron Secondary School in Clinton Ontario. They chose to celebrate Freedom!
Description: We celebrate freedom because it is one of the most important things we can possess. Without any freedoms, we would not have the ability to be the people we are, or pursue the things we want to do. To be free is to be alive and we celebrate it every day! Teacher: Jacqui Vercruyssen

New Board of Directors
New Board Members

It is with great pleasure that the outgoing Board of Directors introduced the new team of Directors at last night's AGM. After last month's energizing conference there are a host of new individuals who have stepped forward to take ECOO into its 30th year.

The new Director's of ECOO are:
President: Bill MacKenzie
Secretary: Lynda Kilpatrick
Conference Chair: Brenda Sherry
Treasurer: Harry Niezen


In addition to the appointed Director's, there are a number of others who have stepped forward to support the Board in its Communications and Project Management task.
The current members of these sub-committees are:
Communications: Barbara McLaughlin, Valia Reinsalu, David Miller
Project Management: Peter Skillen, Andrew Forgrave, Manon Bourgeois, Joseph Romano

The outgoing members of the Board wish the new Director's well and have pledged to do all they can to continue to support ECOO's mission.
 
"The Election" Wins the ECOO/Adobe 2009 Multimedia Contest!

Congratulations to the Centennial CVI Spartans team who won the 2009 ECOO/Adobe Multimedia Contest!

The Title of the winning entry is the "Election" and can be seen here.
